A rodent problem is rarely just “one rat.” If you see one animal, others are usually nearby. Rats and mice breed quickly and travel along pipes, false ceilings, and drainage lines between homes and shops.
Why rodents are a business risk
They contaminate food, chew electrical wires, and tear packaging. In a warehouse or store room this becomes a stock loss. In an office they nest in unused cabins and pantry cupboards. In a home they target kitchens and overhead tanks.
Signs of rodent activity
- Droppings along walls, in rice bags, or behind appliances
- Gnaw marks on wood, plastic, or cables
- Grease rub marks along skirting
- Sounds in the ceiling at night
- Nests made of paper, cloth, or insulation
Traps are not a full plan
A trap can catch a single rodent. If the gap under the door, the broken drain cover, or the open waste area stays the same, new animals enter. Professional rodent control looks at entry points, bait placement, and hygiene of waste areas together.
Mr Antidot provides rodent control for homes, offices, and commercial facilities. Ask for an inspection if droppings keep appearing after you have already set traps.
