Bed bugs hide in mattress seams, sofa folds, wooden beds, and luggage. They travel from hotel rooms, hostels, and shared housing into a family home. A shop spray on the bedsheet rarely reaches the places they rest during the day.

Signs Mr Antidot looks for

  • Itchy bite marks in a line or cluster after sleep
  • Tiny blood spots or dark stains on sheets
  • Live insects or shed skins in mattress piping
  • A sweet, musty smell in a heavily infested room

Why one room is often not enough

If one bed is treated and the sofa or the next room is skipped, bed bugs move. Our technicians inspect sleeping areas, upholstery, and nearby furniture, then treat the hiding places. Follow-up may be needed because eggs can hatch later.

What you should do before the visit

Wash and dry bed linen on a hot cycle if possible. Do not throw the mattress outside without asking us first. Moving furniture around the house can spread the insects.

Bed bug treatment is one of Mr Antidot’s core home and hospitality services. If you suspect bed bugs, book an inspection before the infestation reaches more rooms.
